The product poses: - A risk of choking because it contains small parts that can be swallowed or inhaled by children.- A risk of burns because the short-circuit of the C2 electrolytic capacitor (100 μF) on the printed circuit board causes the batteries to overheat above the permitted limit. - A chemical risk because the PVC electrical cables contain 10.9 % by weight of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). The product does not comply with the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1 and EN 62115. According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited in toys or childcare articles that can be placed in the mouth by children.
