The product poses a risk of electric shock because the metal shaft of the motor, which is not separated from the live parts by double or reinforced insulation, is accessible via the air inlet of the dryer. In addition, the cover of the product is not sufficiently insulated from water infiltrations. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
