The amount of nickel released by the product is too high (measured value 1.1 µg/cm²/week). It contains also lead and cadmium (measured values 5.9% by weight and 33.8 % by weight respectively). Nickel is a strong sensitiser and can cause allergic reactions if present in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. Exposure to lead is harmful for human health and cadmium is harmful to human health, because it accumulates in the body and can damage organs and it may cause cancer. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
