The head of the doll contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value 13,7 % by weight) and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) (measured value 0,21% by weight). The dog also contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value 28,6% by weight). These phthalates may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP and DBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles.
