The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- when the device is plugged into the mains the live pins of the plug are accessible;- when the device is opened, without the aid of a tool, live parts that are not insulated from the mains power supply are accessible; - the creepage distances between parts that could become live if the primary insulation becomes damaged and accessible metal parts are too small. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
