Single-pole or partial insertion of a plug is possible, leaving the free, remaining live pin - or the partially plugged pin of the plug - accessible. In addition, while it is possible to insert devices of Class I protection into the socket-outlet part of the adaptor, the protective earth circuit continuity is then interrupted. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant standard IEC 60884.
