The two hand control does not function adequately. Thus the user may take his/her hand(s) in the splitting zone while using the machine. Furthermore, the emergency stop does not stop all movement, it stops only the engine. The user's hand(s) may get caught in between the moving pressure plate/log and the splitting wedge of the machine, leading to injury.
