The product poses a chemical risk and risk of burns because it contains an acidic solution with pH value 1,3. The product must therefore be classified as “Corrosive”; nevertheless, there is no pictogram “C” on the label and the labelling with risk and safety warnings is incorrect. The packaging has no child-resistant closure and there is no tactile warning. The user therefore has no indication on the serious danger of this acidic product when it comes into contact with the skin or eyes. And, in particular, there is a risk to young children due to the absence of a child-resistant closure, and to visually impaired consumers due to the absence of a tactile warning. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP), with the Dangerous Preparations Directive (1999/45/EC).
