The remote-control socket outlet on the fog machine is of the type used for the mains and the earth connection is used as the power supply for the remote-control. If another device, the housing of which is earthed, is connected to the remote-control socket outlet, the housing of the second device will be live. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant standard EN 60320.
