The amount of cadmium in the metal parts of the jewellery is too high (measured value: up to 86,2% by weight). Cadmium is harmful to human health because it accumulates in the body, can damage organs and may cause cancer. Moreover, parts of the pendant release an excessive amount of nickel (measured value: 0,91 µg/cm2/week). Nickel is a strong sensitiser and can cause allergic reactions if present in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
