The product poses a risk of strangulation because of the presence of a drawstring in the hood with knots on the ends. The protruding loops may get caught in objects and the child may be strangulated. The drawstring is made out of rubber and if the child pulls it the toggles may spring back into the eyes and face causing injuries. The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 14682.
