There exists a potential for the ABS Modulator as fitted to affected motorcycles to malfunction as a result of a production machining error. A malfunctioning ABS Modulator will not apply ABS braking forces therefore leaving the operator with a non ABS brake system. Under emergency braking this could lead to an unintentional locked wheel.
