Once used for a short time, the insulation on the wire connecting the two bulb holders burns off, leaving an exposed live wire hidden between the bulbs and the metal body. There is a risk of contact with live surfaces when changing the bulb with the potential for electrocution. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant standard EN 60598.
