The plastic material of the doll's heads and hands contain bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value up to 31 % by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. In addition, the hands of the woman doll contain di-‘isononyl’ phthalate (DINP) (measured value 2.3 % by weight). According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles while the phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited in toys or childcare articles that can be placed in the mouth by children.
