Water penetration is possible and water may therefore come into contact with live parts. Moreover, the earth connection is inadequate and there is no strain relief for the mains connection lead. The housing of the product could consequently become live and lead to an electric shock if touched by a user. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European Standard EN 60598.
