The plastic material of the dolls contains bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value up to 35.37% by weight), di-butyl phthalate (DBP) (maximum measured value: 27.94 % by weight). These phthalates may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The head of the man contains also 2.4% by weight di-‘isononyl’ phthalate (DINP). According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP and DBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles and the phthalate DINP is prohibited in all toys and childcare articles which can be placed in the mouth by children.
