Internal wiring that is not insulated could come loose and cause accessible metal parts to become live. In addition, there is no warning to replace the protective glass in case it breaks: if the product was used without the protective glass, and the bulb exploded, parts of the glowing bulb could ignite flammable materials. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
