The plastic material of the mains cable insulation is brittle at low temperatures. Consequently, it could break leaving live parts accessible, leading to electric shock if touched. Additionally, water can penetrate the product and there are no drain holes. Water could get in contact with live parts, increasing the risk of receiving an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
