The light cover and the bulb can be removed by hand when the night light is plugged into a mains socket outlet. As a result, live parts can be touched during bulb replacement. The material of the lamp is not resistant to heat and may deform giving the user direct access to live parts. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598-2.
