The appliance is not fitted with a device to prevent release of unburned gas. Cross-lighting is not assured which can lead to unburned gas being released. The gas circuit has a leak near the venturi. The unburned gas released as a result of these defects can ignite and burst into flames. The gas cooker does not comply with the requirements of the Gas Appliances Directive and the relevant European standards EN 203-1 and EN 497.
