The toy contains di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) (measured value: 23% by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The product also contains short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCP) (measured value: 0.25% by weight). SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms and bioaccumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment. According to the REACH Regulation the phthalate DEHP is prohibited in all toys and childcare articles. The product does not comply with the Commission Regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation).
