The battery compartment can easily be opened without the use of any tools, giving access to the button cell battery and small parts that can easily be detached (the speaker with a high magnetic flux, the push button, the plate and wires). Moreover, the fibrous stuffing material is easily accessible due to the weakness of certain seams. A child could put the small parts or the button battery into the mouth, which could cause damage to the child’s gastrointestinal tract or choking. If the small magnetic part and other metallic objects are swallowed, they could attract one another causing intestinal blockage or perforation. The stuffing material may cause choking if put in the mouth by children. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standards EN 71-1 and EN 62115.
