The product poses a chemical risk due to the presence of 0.2 mg/kg of dimethylfumarate (DMF) in the footwear and 0.7 mg/kg in the mould-proof sachet. Dimethylfumarate is a substance which is strongly sensitising on contact with the skin, and consumer products containing over 0.1 mg/kg dimethylfumarate are banned according to the REACH Regulation.
