Due to low sulfidation corrosion resistance of the airflow sensor and to the sulfur gas evaporation from the intake rubber hose, the internal resistor of the airflow sensor might corrode and disconnect. As a result, the vehicle will run out of battery and suddenly stop, increasing the risk of an accident.
