In the Exhaust Gas Recirculation device’s cooler (recirculating gas cooling unit) of the affected diesel vehicles, due to a lack of strength of the bypass pipe that removes and sends exhaust gas to the intake system, cracks may occur in the pipe connection with repeated cooling and heating. If use is continued as is, exhaust gas levels may not satisfy emission standards.
