The product contains excessive amounts of arsenic (measured value up to 25.5 mg/kg), lead (measured value up to 105.7 mg/kg) and cadmium (measured value up to 1.22 mg/kg). Arsenic may cause cancer, may damage fertility or the unborn child, causes damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure. Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body and may affect breast-fed or unborn children. Cadmium is harmful to human health because it accumulates in the body, can damage the kidneys and bones and it may cause cancer. Furthermore, the product contains the allergenic flagrances linalool and benzyl salicylate, which are not indicated on the packaging. Linalool may cause an allergic skin reaction and causes serious eye and skin irritation. Benzyl salicylate may cause an allergic skin reaction, serious eye irritation and is harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
