The product generates high amounts of ozone. At high concentration, ozone can damage the respiratory tract. Moreover, the solders in the product have an excessive concentration of lead (measured value up to 48.6 % by weight). Lead poses a risk to the environment. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS 2 Directive) nor the European standard EN 60335-2-65.
