EU Safety Gate · Report-2026-5
Electric iron
Due to insufficient insulation, the metal parts and the electrical wires are not fixed securely. The user can therefore access live parts and receive an electric shock. Moreover, the power cable is too short, which limits the movement and could stress the cable, leading the iron to fall, causing burns to the user or a fire. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standards EN 60335-1 and EN 60335-2-23.
