EU Safety Gate · Report-2026-8
Man · TGS, TGX
Vehicles with unleaded lower main bearings can suffer serious engine damage if the engine oil is old or contaminated, or if unauthorised oils or filters are used. Poor lubrication can lead to overheating and seizing or breaking of internal engine parts. If a connecting rod breaks and the crankcase ruptures, there is an increased risk of fire. The product does not comply with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
