The toy has small parts (eyes and nose) that can easily detach. A small child may put them in the mouth and choke. Moreover, the fibrous stuffing material of the toy is easily accessible. A small child could put it in the mouth and choke. Additionally, the suction cup of the product has an excessive concentration of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) (measured values: 16% and 11% by weight, respectively). These phthalates may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to their reproductive system. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive nor with the REACH Regulation and the European standard EN 71-1.
