If the power supply cable is used with a Class I electric appliance, there is no continuation of the protective earth conductor. In the event of a fault, the fault current would not be able to flow via the protective earth conductor, leading to the risk of an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standard EN 60335-1.
