The screw of the battery compartment is not captive. If the screw is lost when changing the batteries, the cover of the compartment could easily be removed without using a tool. If a child puts them in their mouth, the batteries may release electrolyte that can be ingested and damage their digestive system. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive nor with the European standard EN 62115.
