EU Safety Gate · Report-2026-18
Mercedes-Benz · Actros, eActros
Some factory fitted Michelin tyres (models X MULTI Z and X LINE ENERGY Z, size 355/50 R 22.5) may develop a crack along the sidewall that worsens with use. This defect can cause a sudden loss of air pressure while driving, making the vehicle unstable and harder to control. As a result, there is a risk of accidents, which could lead to serious injuries for the driver, passengers, or other road users. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
