The live parts do not have double or reinforced insulation which is required for lights in protection class II. If the basic insulation is damaged, the metal casing of the light could be live and there would be no automatic disconnection from the power source. The user may touch live parts and receive an electric shock The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standards EN 60598-1.
