Due to improper software programming in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), Battery Energy Control Module (BECM), Transmission Control Module (TCM) and Dash Electronic Supply Unit (Dash-ESU), the engine may stall at idle or/and fail to restart, and the defroster and seat belt warning light may not function properly. These defects increase the risk of an accident and injury. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
