The connector hood may become detached after frequent assembly and disassembly. It no longer provides protection against electric shocks as live parts could become accessible. The user could touch accessible live parts, which may lead to an electric shock. Moreover, the power cable may heat excessively. This may cause damage to the cable and lead to overheating and fire. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standards EN 60335-2.
