EU Safety Gate · Report-2026-27
Jaguar Land Rover · F-PACE, Defender, Discovery, Range Rover, Range Rover Sport , Range Rover Velar
The idler pulley on the front-end accessory drive (FEAD) belt may over-rotate due to high torsional stress and collide with the oil temperature and pressure sensor. This could damage the sensor and cause an oil leak, creating a slipping hazard for other road users, particularly two-wheeled vehicles. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
