The product has insufficient protection against water and moisture: the mains plug is neither waterproof nor protected against dust or solid objects. Moreover, the insulation between the live parts and the accessible parts of the product is insufficient. Additionally, the creepage distances between the live parts and the accessible metal casing are insufficient. Therefore, the user may have access to live parts and receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standard EN 62031.
