EU Safety Gate · Report-2025-24

Simplon · Pedelec

The centre lock adapters do not guarantee a permanently stable fixation of the brake disc, because the adapter or the locking ring of the adapter can loosen over time and fall onto the axle. As a result, the brake disc can fall off the adapter and become wedged, which can lead to reduced or even total lack of braking performance, leading to injuries. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive.
