EU Safety Gate · Report-2025-24
Hyundai · IONIQ 5 N (NE N)
During certain driving manoeuvres with the Left-Foot Braking feature engaged, the Integrated Electronic Brake (“IEB”) control software may trigger the depressurization of the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), resulting in a reduced braking performance. This can lead to longer stopping distances than anticipated by the operator, increasing the risk of accident and injuries. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
