The front wheel bearings may have been built with damaged encoder rings, causing a loss of wheel speed signal which may disable the electronic stability control (ESC) system. The failure of the ESC system may cause an accident without prior warning, increasing the risk of injuries for the driver. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
