The knots between the rungs are not sufficiently tightened. This may cause, that when using the ladder, the knots tighten further, changing the size of the openings. A child's head or limbs may therefore become trapped inside these, causing also the risk of strangulation. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive nor with the European standard EN 71-8.
