The fasteners are not galvanised, and the screw bolts are coated with cadmium. Consequently, at temperatures above 232°C the cadmium-coated fastener could become brittle and break, with resultant leakage. This could cause serious injuries to people next to it. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive nor with the European standard EN 10204.
