EU Safety Gate · Report-2025-42
CITROEN · Spacetourer, Jumpy
The rear brake discs do not have sufficient contact with the wheel hub, resulting in an abnormal concentration of stress on them. This might cause cracks and a reduced transmission of torque, resulting in the loosening of the wheel bolts, leading to an increased risk of a wheel becoming detached from the vehicle. Moreover, a crack that forms a groove in the surface of a brake disc might impair the braking function, increasing the risk of injuries. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
