The plug of a protection class-I appliance can be inserted into the socket of the extension lead, intended for appliances of protection class-II. A user who connects a class-I device to the extension lead may receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the standards IEC 60884-1 and IEC 60884-2-7.
