A software calibration error in the Engine Electronic Control Unit (ECU) causes incorrect IUPR (In-Use Performance Ratio) values, which may delay the malfunction indicator (MIL) warning. As a result, the vehicle could exceed emission limits before the driver is alerted. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
