EU Safety Gate · Report-2025-47
Mitsubishi Fuso · eCanter
The Active Side Guard Assist (ASGA) sensor may be partially blocked by the vehicle’s own bodywork or by accessories installed along the sides, such as side guards. When the sensor’s view is obstructed, the system may issue false dashboard warnings and, more importantly, may fail to detect nearby road users or obstacles in time. This increases the risk of an accident, as the safety system might not respond appropriately to hazards that are hidden or detected too late. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
