The product contains antimony, lead and selenium (measured values: <0.10 mg/kg, 2.58 mg/kg and 0.31 mg/kg, respectively), which are prohibited in cosmetic products. Moreover, the product has an excessive concentration of arsenic and of cobalt (measured values: 0.24 mg/kg and 0.57 mg/kg by weight, respectively). Additionally, the product has an excessive concentration of nickel (measured value up to 2.46 mg/kg). Antimony can irritate the skin. Arsenic may cause cancer, may damage fertility or the unborn child, causes damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure. Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body and may affect breast-fed or unborn children. Selenium can damage health if inhaled or swallowed. Nickel is a strong sensitiser and causes allergic reactions if present in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. Cobalt is a skin and respiratory sensitiser and may cause cancer. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
