Due to a manufacturing error by the supplier, a small mechanical part in the terminal mount may loosen. If this happens, that loose part could cause a short circuit between the cells of the traction battery. This can produce a serious thermal hazard, which would trigger a red alert on the dashboard. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
