The product has a design flaw that allows the plug of a Class I appliance to be inserted into the socket of an extension cord intended for Class II appliances. Consequently, the product offers no protection against electric shock if a Class I appliance is connected to this extension cord. The user could therefore touch accessible, live parts and receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor the European standards EN 60884-1 and EN 60884-2.
